Rehabilitation Physicians

Physicians who specialize in the care of patients in rehabilitation – often called physiatrists - often see people at the most desperate time of their lives, especially patients who have suffered a stroke or other kind of serious trauma. Understanding these issues while also helping each patient to regain the highest level of function and independence possible are what distinguish our rehab staff and programs. 

Some of our patients have medically complex disabilities. In addition to their physical or neurological conditions, they may also have heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, nutritional or emotional issues. Because our rehabilitation services are hospital-based, our physicians have access to a full range of medical specialists who collaborate on each case. Every member of the rehab staff is committed to helping our patients meet these challenges together and reach the highest goals possible.
