Fairview Hospital takes pride in offering a full range of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sports Therapy in our Rehabilitation Department. Our licensed therapists and assistants are dedicated to the promotion of health and the recovery from injury and dysfunction. We provide services at two locations: Fairview Hospital Rehabilitation Department where we treat both in- and out-patients, and Fairview Physical and Sports Therapy, our satellite out-patient clinic located in the Suburban Medical Building at 710 Stockbridge Rd. in Lee.

Upon referral by a physician, our patients receive a comprehensive evaluation by a licensed therapist. A treatment program is then designed to provide recovery of motion and strength, alleviation of pain and return to an active lifestyle based on the patient’s individual goals and needs.

A typical treatment plan includes education, self-management techniques and therapeutic exercise. Fairview therapists strongly encourage patients to optimize their recovery by participation in a home exercise program. Manual therapy and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation are also utilized to aid the rehabilitation process.

Our team is committed to offer treatment services which reflect the most current research and developments in the field.  All therapists receive ongoing education and attend regional and national conferences.
